It's when buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude or Google AI Mode which software to use instead of scrolling through search results. Those answers draw on your website and on outside sources like review sites and comparison articles. We work on both.
Is this just SEO?
SEO is part of it. Google says its AI features rely on the same search foundations, so technical SEO and strong pages still matter. The rest is work most SEO retainers leave out: tracking what AI answers say about you and your competitors, and helping you earn reviews and mentions on the sites those answers cite.
